Terms and Conditions of Sale:
Quotes: Quotes are valid while stocks last, PLEASE confirm stock is available prior to making payment on the relevant Pro-Forma Invoice.
Quantities:
UC Tiles accepts no responsibility for the quantities estimated by our staff. It is the purchasers responsibility to have quantities verified by the relevant contractor / installer / project manager etc.
Returns:
Products must be in original packaging / box. Only full boxes. Goods must be stock items and in stock at time of the return. No special order items (i.e coded 020 on the invoice). purchase invoice must be supplied by the client. No later than 2 weeks from the date of invoice. Goods must be in a resell-able condition. A handling fee may be charged.
Refunds:
Client to supply banking details to the store for refunds to be made. Refunds may take up to 14 days from bank to bank card or EFT transfers. Please contact us should it not reflect within 3 working days so that we can follow it up as well.
EFT payments:
Products may only be collected when the payment reflects in our bank account on weekdays. Payments made on a Friday will not be able to collect on the respective Saturday,
Collection of tiles:
Goods purchased must be collected within 2 weeks from the store, after which goods will be sold and to recuperate storage costs.
Special order items:
These items are coded 020 on the Invoice and Quote. No returns / refunds. Products are ordered specifically for your projects. The lead time may vary between 3 – 7 days from the manufacturer. The store will contact the client upon delivery of the items to the relevant store. These products must be collected within 2 weeks from delivery to our store. UC Tiles accepts no responsibility in delays on delivery from the manufacturer to our stores.
Installation:
Please check all tiles and products prior to installation of the products. No claims / returns will be accepted after installation. UC Tiles cannot be held liable for poor workmanship by the respective tiler / contractor.
Tiles can be classified as 2nd Grade/B Grade for any of the following reasons: Chipped edges. Size variation. Colour / Shade differences. There may be chipped and or broken tiles within some boxes. B Grade/Rejects/C Grade have no Guarantee.
Tiles can be classified as Reject/C Grade for any of the following reasons: Size, Colour / Shade differences, Texture, Print defects, Miss glazed, Glaze defects, Surface defects, Surface Bubbles, Chipped edges/Surface. There may be chipped and or broken tiles within some boxes. B Grade/Rejects/C Grade have no Guarantee.
Spacers: 2mm – Not recommended for use on any tiles.
3mm – Only for use on rectified porcelain only.
4mm – For use on cushion edge porcelain, not recommended for ceramic tiles.
5mm – Ceramic Tiles especially B and C grade.
6 to 8 mm Spacers – for use on all tiles.
Self-levelling spacers and wedges – for use on 200x1200mm / 600x1200mm / 800x800mm tiles – Larger formats
